Detection sensitivity
Scene-change threshold controls how different consecutive analysed pictures must be before they become candidates. Lower values produce more candidates; higher values require a stronger transition.
Timing rules
- Minimum time between marks suppresses clusters around one transition.
- Maximum commercial block limits automatic grouping of candidate pairs.
- Scan I and P pictures only can trade detail for speed on suitable codecs/material.
- CPU priority controls how aggressively a background scan competes with other work.
Automatic cuts
Automatically add detected commercial blocks to the cut list only after the same channel/material has been tested. Detection is advisory; an automatic cut should still be previewed at both boundaries.
