Capture the intended picture
- Pause and navigate to the exact source frame.
- Apply the desired display rotation or aspect handling if the capture should match the preview presentation.
- Choose Edit > Capture Frame and select a destination format, or use the clipboard option where offered.
Image formats
SmartCut64 supports common still-image delivery including PNG, JPEG, BMP and TIFF. PNG is a good default for lossless UI, titles and graphics; JPEG is smaller for photographic review images.
Source versus output context
In Edit mode the capture refers to the current source frame. In Preview mode the current position is mapped through the kept sequence but the captured picture still comes from its corresponding decoded source frame.
