Evaluation mode
The unactivated application can open, inspect, edit and preview supported media. Every evaluation video output is permanently marked SMARTCUT64 EVALUATION and is fully re-encoded so the mark is genuinely present.
Clean packet-copy, remux and smart-render delivery require a paid activation. The window title and Save Video dialog identify evaluation status before an export begins.
Activate a purchase
- Open Help > Licence & Activation.
- Enter the purchase email and licence key supplied by the authorised storefront.
- Choose Activate and confirm that the status changes to licensed.
- Keep the receipt and key private. Once activated, the signed entitlement is perpetual on that installation and clean export does not require periodic online revalidation.
Changing computers
Use Deactivate before retiring or replacing a machine when possible, then activate on the new installation. Local credentials are protected for the current Windows user; they are not a substitute for retaining the original purchase details.
