A native 64-bit cutter
SmartCut64 is a Windows video editor for removing or retaining exact frame ranges while preserving compatible source streams. Its normal Intelligent mode copies safe compressed material and encodes only pictures around edit boundaries that cannot be reused safely.
The editor combines a resizable video preview, neighbouring-frame thumbnails, decoded audio waveform, source-frame ruler, chapter marks, colour-coded cut timeline, cut list and detailed time/frame readouts in one window.
The normal workflow
- Open a source video and allow stream probing to complete.
- Navigate to exact frames, set Mark In and Mark Out, then cut the selection or trim everything outside it.
- Use Preview Your Edits to watch only the kept sequence.
- Choose a compatible output profile and save. SmartCut64 validates the completed delivery before reporting success.
Designed for continuity
Familiar menu names, shortcuts and project interchange reduce the learning curve for experienced VideoReDo users, but SmartCut64 is independently implemented and has its own supported formats, validation rules, licence system and help content.
DVD authoring and disc burning are intentionally outside the product. DVD-originated MPEG-2 and VOB media can still be edited as ordinary supported source files.
