When alerts are useful
Audio alerts can signal completion or a job that needs attention while SmartCut64 is not the active window. They do not change source or output audio.
Configure respectfully
- Enable only the events you need.
- Choose an audible but non-disruptive Windows sound/device.
- Test the alert once after changing the playback device.
- Disable alerts on unattended or shared systems where they are inappropriate.
No alert does not mean no report
Batch and export status remains visible in the interface and logs. A muted/missing alert does not change success or failure state.
