Multiple-file opening
Choose whether multiple selected or dropped files prompt to Join/Combine. Use Joiner for distinct programmes; use sequential combination only when files are known parts of one continuous recording.
Editing prompts
- Automatically replace overlapping cuts makes a new intersecting range take precedence.
- Prompt for Joiner descriptions asks for meaningful labels when items are added.
- Clear Recent Files / Folders removes convenience history, not projects or media.
Reset cautiously
When troubleshooting, change one option at a time or restore a known default set. Global preferences are separate from the open project's actual cuts and markers.
