Jump distances
Set short and long time jumps to suit the material. Short jumps are useful around dialogue or transitions; long jumps move through programmes quickly without replacing exact frame controls.
Exact versus approximate movement
Time jumps target a nearby program time and then resolve to a displayable frame. Single-frame and random-access commands remain separate so you can choose exact boundary inspection or fast movement deliberately.
Preview awareness
In Preview Your Edits, jumps and timeline movement operate in output order and skip removed ranges. Return to Edit mode when you need to navigate inside a cut.
