List operations
- Move the selected item up or down to change program order.
- Remove an item without deleting its source file.
- Edit a title card or item description.
- Replace a missing source while preserving the intended list position.
- Open an item for inspection when boundary or stream compatibility is uncertain.
Check transitions
The end of one item and start of the next must produce valid timestamps and decodable stream continuity. A full-transcode profile is the safest choice for mixed codecs, dimensions or frame rates.
Do not overwrite inputs
The Joiner output must use a new destination. Saving the list stores instructions, not copied media; keep its source files available until the final output is complete and verified.
