Progress phases
- Boundary encoding — unsafe pictures around an exact mid-GOP edit are being encoded.
- Fast packet copy — reusable compressed packets are being copied without video re-encoding.
- Full transcode — all kept pictures are being decoded and encoded.
- Validation — the temporary destination is being checked before final replacement.
Pause and abort
Pause suspends the active worker where the selected operation supports it. Abort cancels processing and removes the incomplete temporary delivery. The editor project and source remain unchanged.
Completion evidence
A successful result includes the destination and export report. Failed validation deliberately reports no output hash and no completed destination; open Tools > Show Last Export Report for the failed rule, selected streams and suggested alternative.
