Create a trimmed file copy

Make a fast keyframe-aligned excerpt without frame-accurate boundary encoding.

Open in SmartCut64Tools > Create Trimmed File Copy…

Purpose

A trimmed file copy is for quickly extracting a region on safe random-access boundaries. It does not promise that arbitrary Mark In/Out positions will become exact displayed-frame boundaries, because it avoids video encoding.

Create the copy

  1. Mark the approximate source range.
  2. Choose Create Trimmed File Copy.
  3. Select a compatible destination container.
  4. Review the adjusted start/end information before processing.

When to use Intelligent instead

Use a normal Intelligent smart-render export when the exact first or last frame matters. That mode can encode boundary pictures while still copying safe interior GOPs.
