MPEG transport-stream output

Create TS or M2TS delivery with explicit stream and service compatibility checks.

Choose TS or M2TS deliberately

Transport Stream (.ts) and Blu-ray-style M2TS (.m2ts) use MPEG-TS carriage but can have different packet and receiving-device expectations. Select the matching output profile rather than changing the extension after export.

Stream compatibility

The planner checks whether each selected video, audio, subtitle and data stream can be represented. A Matroska source can contain tracks that MPEG-TS cannot carry in the same form; choose a suggested audio transcode, deselect a track or use Matroska when preservation is more important.

Service parameters

  • Program/service identifiers and elementary PIDs must not collide.
  • PCR/PMT selection and timestamp monotonicity are validated.
  • M2TS delivery uses the selected packetisation policy rather than being inferred from a filename only.
